THE SCOUTS HONOR PHILOSOPHY
We believe that the root of a successful creative project is a great idea. When you look at a tree, you see only the tree, but it's the roots that support and allow the tree to grow. Likewise, what we do behind the scenes, the sweat and tears and sometimes blood, is what we believe makes our work successful. Our clients come to us for that reason. They are searching for visual media that can be presented to the world with the feel-goodery and pride of knowing their project was created with a strong substructure.

THINGS WE LIKE
NOT GIVING IT ALL AWAY
Leave a little bit to the viewer and we find that they are more intrigued and it creates more discussion and buzz around a piece.
SEEING THE INFLUENCE OF THE HAND IN A PIECE OF WORK
We believe in the timelessness of craftsmanship. Stylistic and conceptual features are open to a sea of varying opinions and criticism, but craftsmanship is either good or bad. Good craftsmanship should leave clues that something was made by hand, but leave you wondering how it was done.
As much as we wish we could, we just can't do it all ourselves. We believe if an extra person can make a project better, then let's bring them on! There's no reason for us to learn how to animate, or style hair and makeup, or run a Steadicam. There are other people out there who are way better at that stuff than us.
DOING IT BY OURSELVES
Yeah we love collaboration. But doesn't it feel so good to get a big project accomplished by yourself.
